European Social Survey chosen as the winner of the LPV Award for 2020
The selection committee for the Lijphart/Przworski/Verba Dataset Award, given annually by the Comparative Politics Section of the American Political Science Association for the best dataset in comparative politics have chosen the European Social Survey (ESS) as the winner of the LPV Award for 2020.
The Committee was impressed with the quality of ESS surveys, their regularity of release, the ease of use of the ESS Website, and the number of important and innovative research projects that have made use of ESS data.
Certificate of Research Excellence
Since the Centre for Social Sciences has complied with the requirements of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences which follow international standards it has been authorised to use the label Hungarian Academy of Sciences Centre of Excellence, according to the Certificate of Excellence awarded recently.
